Maybe I am missing something here...but I fail to understand why PCA racers were and are forced to pay more for Michelins, and now Pirellis, for the same tires than a NASA racer (for example) would pay.

I don't get it...

What are the actual price differences?

I will ask some of my clients who have alerted me to the "PCA premium" they say they pay, for the specific amounts.

Easy enough, call anywhere and ask what a Pirelli DH costs....price is the same regardless of vendor...
Time for the bashing to stop. Spec tire for a spec series...not a new concept guys...

Prices are now the same - no difference in cost for PCA tire. My question was more around availability and experiences with JX2PG as a supplier. No bashing here (anymore).....

I was not "bashing". I have had a number of clients tell me that the PCA spec tire (Michelin and then Pirelli) was more expensive than the open-market same tire. I am glad that issue has been remedied.

Has PCA announced what stickers the GTC cars need to have yet. Still have Jackson and Michelin.

Great question Chris. I suspect that Pirelli will not want to see "Michelin" stickers on GTC cars. Likewise, I can't imagine JX2 being too happy to see Jackson Motorsports stickers prominently displayed either. Suspect several support crews will be busy at Sebring with sticker replacements. Hope they have stickers available when the PCA CR gear shows up at TWS in March!

Time to peel off the Michelin stickers. Where can I access the Pirelli decals?

Anybody actually order a set of Pirelli's from JX2 yet? I hear there will be a JX2 stamp on all their tires that will be inspected prior to each session.

Assuming past precedent, they'll be handed out at the races.

Default Alignment?

What alignment is advised for GTC3 and the Pirellis? Time to go to the new tires....
