someone i know had it installed in his 997 Rolex Cup, ran it at NJMP PCA last week.
His comments were that he loved it, that it was better than he had anticipated. clutch for first gear from a dead stop but other than that, the system blips for you and no clutching needed.
The install was done by Tivadar @ Heinlein Racing Development hetimo@verizon.net who takes care of my cayman and camaro. he said the install went well. was complicated, but instructoins and kit were precise.
overall, seems like a winner.

As Steve mentioned the kit worked flawlessly . Above is a link to a lap with the paddles. Car is better than that lap shown
which was on old tires and the sun was in my eyes. Lawson aschenbach turned a 1:19:2 in a day or two earlier.

FS: KMP Paddle shift system
Hi guys. We recently purchase a cup car from a customer (Joey Kid) at a pretty affordable price. we have a few guys interested in it, but most are trying to keep it pretty affordable in terms of price.
So i think we're going to strip out the Bosch ABS MS4 unit and the KMP Paddle shift kit.
The KMP is a 2013 unit with the last and greatest. Really nice system which lets you keep all hands on the wheel while hammering around the track. If something goes wrong, you can flip a switch on the dash and put it back in regular sequential mode. This is preferrable to some of the systems which dont have the sequential lever as you have a fallback in case of errors or issues or testing.
The system takes about 9 hours to install, and its a pretty simple installation. This kit comes with everything you need including the wheel controls, etc.
If you look at this thread, you'll see just about the bits and pieces.
or you can go to KMP's site. http://www.k-m-p.nl/paddleshift/k-m-p-paddleshift/
The system is about $11,800 for Hardware. We will sell this kid for $8500 for someone who might be interested. its complete with everything you need for your car. we only have one such kit.
And if someone is interested in the Bosch MS4 ABS unit, we'll be selling that for $8500 as well (retails for $13000) - harness, system, full kit.
If interested, let me know. Its current installed and working in the car, so it would take us just a few hours to uninstall it.
any questions, please advise.

I am toying with the idea of installing one into my 08 and wondering what is required in terms of maintenance ?
Are there any seals to change ? Some nuts to check ? Any physicals or soft settings to adjust ?
Thanks for any info

The KMP is probably just as easy. a couple of boxes to mount, some lines, the blipper on the pedal.
my guess 1 day for each with a competent tech.
maintaineance on the abs unit is like zero. not sure in several years with the latest iterations of the bosch ive ever had a failure. the thing is very clear about telling you when its not working right.
the KMP has some valves, a compressor to pressurize the system. but a lot of people have had them for a while without many issues. pascal has always been crazy responsive. and jon wright is involved in the USA stuff and well that dude rocks. so i think kmp guys are in good hands.

Thanks SG.
A last one : How does it handle a 6-2 very quick downshift ? (like coming to Adelaide at Magny Cours and braking, then downshifting 4 gears as quick as your fingers can do)
