Not usually available. The menu is there but nothing happens if you try to act upon it.
I think that's part of the track mode that the GT3 has in lieu of sport/sport+. That also changes the gauges, brings them to the side of the tach, where you can actually see them. Tire pressure on one side, car data on the other. Between the gauges and the tach, progressive lights for changing gears.

Thanks.

Looking at a post you made back in February, with the screen shot showing the track mode setting in PIWIS, did you poke around in this option to see if it enabled the gauges (select something other than "Sport Chrono")? This is for "Selection of additional instrument".

As far as I can recall, there was no option under that. I'll check again tomorrow. I'm hope the v40 may reflect some of the GT3 software as they came out about the same time.

Cut off the time sync for the VM (VMware setting), and go into the time settings within the VM (Windows 8.1 time settings) and tell it not to pull the time from the internet.

If you're running Windows on your main computer (not the PIWIS VM), I suggest you google for stopping VMware time sync. There may be other settings you need to make in VMware.

I can't see anything useful at all, probably because everything will be under the manual coding options, which you can't see in simulation mode.

Has anyone got a copy of piwis v39.900 or v40 with developer mode? I have access to a 2021 macan for a few days and desperately want to get a FAP/VAL from it before it goes back(see what's changed new etc).

Re date you can create a very simple batch script which runs on start up of vm.

If you want, just tell me how to do it. I have a 2021 Macan GTS and a PIWIS 40. I can tell you that PIWIS 40 and a 2021 Macan don't play well together for coding. I use 39.8.

BTW I thought version 39.800 didn't have development mode? Or do some have it and others don't?

development mode can be in any version, but a good version is expensive

Runbuh, how did you get the VAS 6154 to work with multiple versions of Piwis?

Any version that works with a clone VAS 6154 will work with any clone VAS 6154 (assuming yours are the 12/31/2020 expiration date and firmware 1.6.x - that's all I have tested).
