Just last week when sitting parked in my garage, my panamera started a light tapping sound. The song resonates on the driver side.
Does anyone have a idea of what this could be. It's a 4S 3.0L V6.

Direct Injection. Common sound for the pulsing high pressure injectors.
DI engines make tapping sounds (sounds a lot like lifter tick). This is normal. With that in mind, I'm not sure that the OP's noise is from the DI; if so I'd think he / she would've noticed it sooner.
We had a similar noise. Sounded like mis-adjusted valve clearances. It took almost a year to convince the dealer and Porsche it was not normal. Once they started to take the issue seriously it turned out to be a defective part in the balance shaft assembly. The reason for the long time to correction is that the sound got progressively worse over time. At first it was only slight and got louder Over time. I noted the progressive nature, but it took time to get others who weren’t familiar with the car to recognize it was a problem.
Sounds expensive how much did it cost you to get fixed . So when I go to the dealer or whoever I have to have it repaired by what do I tell them that's wrong with it. Your problem sounds like the very same problem I'm having with my Porsche Panamera
