It seems the prerequisite to be a UAW worker is to have a rather a large belly, armpit ***** and a lack of enthusiasm for your job.

It all seems so tempting until you see the cars up close fit&finish and ugly ***, ***.
That and the dealer salestards, surely Chevy could sell more cars online, free delivery through the door and have dealers just be service and repair stations?

The dealer "unions" would certainly put a stop to that.

The time has really come for consumers to be able to buy cars directly from the manufacturers but thats a a lot of political lobbying $$$ getting in the way.

i was #1 fanboy, but fit and finish on delivery is just frustrating, add that to the incompetent dealer network GM has created (that should stick to selling low end vehicles)... Order was cancelled and picked up one of these instead.

i'll settle for slower, and less magnificent shocks for the fit and finish and attention to detail.

i'm still a big fan of the c7 looks... and value for price paid.. but just can't get over a dealer network that would sell "in stock units" at major discount after 5-7 days on the lot (why the rush?)... also the paint work and shotty rear window install/fix that left divots, dents and scratches in the paint..

i guess the Viper should have been the first sign, ... viper+c7 both GREAT cars and would cost double if produced by another brand... but they just need to do what toyota did and create a whole new entity for their high end cars with a whole new feel...

New SRT Viper is very well finished however, same problem with dealer network. I can't stand walking in the door, such negative vibes. Allan
