Metrowest Boston Porsche / Ferrari / Lambo gathering Sundays 9AM Southboro Starbucks
As an FYI - a group of Boston Metrowest area european car enthusiasts (Porsche, Ferrari and Lamboghini owners) are losely organizing a weekly informal Sunday morning gathering (weather permitting) for coffee and car chat at 9 AM at Starbucks on Rt. 9 in Southborough (in the Tommasso Restaraunt plaza). It is about 1.5 miles west of the Framingham MA pike exit, and about 4 miles from Rt. 495/Rt. 9 interfhange, and is on the Eastbound side of Rt. 9. This location is quiet, has good parking, some shade and trees and not near malls and other public gathering/shopping places to allow owners a chance to network, mingle and enjoy coffee and their cars wih others.
It is just getting off the ground now, a little late in the season, so attendance the first few weeks may be light but we hope to grow it to allow local sports car and exotic owners the chance to mingle for a bit and enjoy the cars on Sunday mornings. Many of us can't make the various cruise nights, so this is like church for motorheads. At this point attendance include several Porsches, Ferraris (308s, 360s, and 430s), a handful of Lambos and will draw from metrowest towns as well as Worcester.
If there are other good places to cross post this, please feel free to do so. Hope to see you there. I have a 98 993 cab and 02 360 spider, and will be there the first time in the 360, but I can't makes this coming Sunday as I will be in CT.

I plan to be there but in a Ferrari 360 spider - my 993 cab does not see much action lately. I had a friend who was going to drive with it, but he had to cancel. The idea behind this Sunday morning gathering is that many people on ferrari chat and lambochat (cant remember the name of the fourn) cant make cruise nights during the week due to family, work , etc., and Sunday mornings was elected to be a good time to get out for an hour or two and see other car people. Hope to see many Porsches there...

Nice chance meeting you all this Sunday. My wife Anne and I always grab a Sunday coffee there. I have to say I was impressed with all the cars from the F430 to the Triumph Spitfire!! More importantly a great bunch of people.... See you next Sunday?

If there was room for a Ford Excursion and a 20' enclosed trailer, I'd bring the Cup car out for some fresh air.
Need the tow vehicle/trailer...something tells me with the graphics on the car, I wouldn't get out of my town without the police asking me to please stop.

Where was everyone this past Sunday? Here's pics from Starbucks in Southborough. A few Porsches, Ferraris, and a Bentley. A guy named Dave came by in a 1974 308 GT/4 Ferrari (last pic below) originally owned by Mario Andretti (had original sales docs and registration with his signatures, and photos from Andretti) - very cool. I'll be there next Sunday aroubnd 9 - 9:30 if weather is nice - I'll bring the Porsche this time and let the 360 sleep in. Only a month or so of decent weather left...

Spring arrival
With the nice weather just ending and another snowstorm on the way I was just thinking about the next gathering in the Spring. Hope that I was not the only one to get a ride in over the past few days.

I managed a few miles yesterday, just to top off the battery and clean the rust off the brakes! Nice to once again be driving, instead of watching it rest in the garage.

You can count me in.
Jay, just got a note from PCA. they placed me in the NCR region, so should be all set. Should get my member package in the next week or so. I was emailed my mem number, and log-in info.
Thanks for the suggestion and look forward to meeting up with you sometime this spring.
