Weather permitting, tomorrow anyone interested can meet me at Copley Motorcars in Needham center, intersection of Chestnut street and rte 135 Great plain ave; 9am for a 30-40 minute back roads drive to the starbucks in southboro.

This was fun, 2 928s, a 997, a 360 and a 300SL 1961.
Mo with the 300 and I cruised around a bit, that car is cool x100!

This meet at Starbucks on Route 9 in Southborough, MA is back in swing - had 5 cars last week. Hopefully it will grow larger this year.

So people are on for this Sunday 9 AM... See you guys there.. It will be my first time. I wanted to let any other Porsches that are going to be attending know that there is a drive organized by the New England Region on Sunday starting at 10:30 from Sudbury (20- 25 min away). It is a casual event; 50 mile tour through concord and Acton, culminating with lunch at the oriental delight in Maynard. If anyone is interested in attending PM me so I can let the organizers know of the additional cars.

928andRC51 - Sorry to hear that I missed the Needham gathering and run to Southborough last week. I was thinking that there may be a great deal of interest in Needham gatherings on their own. There are a lot of cars in this area that do not make the Starbuck's run.

Meeting in Needham and then driving to Southborough is a great concept. I believe last year I was the only one driving from "just outside" the Boston area to the Southborough meet.

Any other intrerest in a Needham Meet?

My car is apart right now, but I think it would be a lot of fun to have a weekly ride to get out there. I will be out for this week and maybe next week. I would still like to go, and could get a few 928s there for the ride.
The roads through Needham, Dover, Sherborn, ashland are pretty sweet at that time of day, pre-soccer mom pace car time.
