Hey Mark, would love a link to your bedding procedure - RSL29s on a 996 C2 squealing at dead stop. Followed Pagid procedures and still gnarly in city.

Mark, I have a 2011 Cayman S. Just bought a PFC 08 pads. It is a weekend and DE vehicle. Can you share your bedding technique with me at zackdees@cox.net?

Hello Mark, I was just reading a lot of posts about squealing brake pads. I have a 2006 Boxster S that I will use for 8 autocrosses and about 2 track days per year. Mostly run at buttonwillow and laguna seca. I started asking guys in the club what they run and several recommended CarboTech, a few Yellow PAGIDs. They also said they will squeal on the street. I don't use my car for daily driving, but do use it for weekends. Do you have a recommended set of Pads for my use? Can you share the proper bedding procedure?

    Thanks,
    Fred

    Mark,

I would be greatly appreciative for your bedding procedure. About to swap the rears, wish I had it when I did the fronts, that now have 4 Track days on them. Any chance it will work for those at this stage?

    Hi Mark,
    I don't visit this site often .....
Warren at RB told me it was too much trouble to support guys like me. Very friendly and reasonable about it and gave me time on the telephone.
    So I continue the search.
    Cheers,
    Dave
