Official Waiting Room for Those with a New Macan on Order....Come On In!!!

I have a Chalk over Pebble/Black GTS
Well, it's not really by choice, but I'm now in the waiting room. My beautiful '21 Macan GTS "Daisy" was just deemed a total loss 3 1/2 months after a kid ran a red light and t-boned me.
My new Macan GTS is currently scheduled to be built in mid-June. The wait begins!
I will say that I was pleasantly surprised that the Macan is now in TYD...it wasn't when I ordered the '21.

My SA did tell me that a stop sale note came up for the GT wheels but that the system didn't kick out the selection or generate any errors, so he thinks it'll be fine, but apparently those wheels cause a stop sale every couple of months for whatever reason.
I thought pretty hard about Papaya Metallic instead of Chalk, cuz I thought it'd be really nice to then have the interior trim in exterior color option, but when I went to look at a Macan in person in Papaya, I noticed that the color makes the car look smaller and, particularly, less wide, which didn't appeal to me, so Chalk it is.
I will forever lament the discontinuation of Mamba Green Metallic haha.

My build date for my 2023 Macan S has been pushed out twice now, until May 22. No Burmeister, just Bose. Had a 2016 S and a 2017 GTS. Looking forward to how this one will perform with the 2.9L. Volcano over Black/Tan. Delay maybe due to trying to find a tan cow from the factory herd? Or Wolfgang's toy train set is draining the stud farm's electrical supply? I hope they meet the new date. Current SQ5 is no Macan.

Just checked my GTS build and apparently it's been moved up by almost two weeks. My Change Freeze date was 6/3 and now it's 5/20. Fingers crossed it doesn't get bumped out the other direction!

Mine was also built earlier than scheduled but then so far has gotten moved back an entire month due to a delay at Emden. It didn't leave the port on the originally scheduled date and is now showing up as scheduled to leave the port over a month after it's arrived at the port. I'm guessing there will be another big delay at the local port. Porsche's tracking system seems to massively underestimate how long it takes for the car to get loaded onto and unloaded from the ships. If anything, it would've been nice for them to overestimate.

My 23 GTS has gone from freeze date to arrival at the port in less than five weeks. Now we’ll see about delays leaving the port of Emden.
