My newly arrived GTS took 14 days, and was in-line with the Porsche website "View Your Order" milestones.

Soon enough it will be here! For what its worth, my Porsche website "View Your Order" tracking just sort of "stopped" once the car was reported to have arrived at the local entry port. Next alert was the car had been unloaded at the dealer; and that update came from the dealer. Then the website caught up.

23 GTS entered production the end of last week. Scheduled for dealership on or about 5/22/2023.

Imagine how much money Porsche could make with an in car camera installed toward the end of the production line. Could see transport to port, loading, unloading and transport to dealer. Uninstall camera at dealer.

Option XCam $XX ?

If SA says car status is " RELEASE FOR TRANSPORT ", any idea how long it takes from port to dealer?

Well, it's not really by choice, but I'm now in the waiting room. My beautiful '21 Macan GTS "Daisy" was just deemed a total loss 3 1/2 months after a kid ran a red light and t-boned me.

My new Macan GTS is currently scheduled to be built in mid-June. The wait begins!

I will say that I was pleasantly surprised that the Macan is now in TYD...it wasn't when I ordered the '21.

It was a few days when I got my last one, but of course it depends on your dealer and how far it is from your port as well.

How about getting from the German port to the US port?

I am located at the Freeport, Long Island dealer and the car is currently at the port of Rhode Island. My Macan was on SIEM ARISTOLE which landed in RI on April 18th and ever since the car has not left the port yet either. It's been about a week now and no info since. Google maps shows its about a 3 hours drive from port to my dealer.

Sometimes this is because the dealer is slow in getting transport or transport isn't available.

However, sometimes it's because there may have been some minor damage to the vehicle during RORO and they're going to fix it. I believe this happened to my Cayman GTS 4.0 a couple years back, as the front lip spoiler / splitter didn't appear to be factory when the car arrived. There was no confirmation of this of course, but Porsche replaced it.

I think there are also certain circumstances under which it would be held at port waiting for a port-installed option or some other component that is missing etc.

If you've ever watched a video of how RORO vehicles are loaded and unloaded, that will answer the question as to why this isn't offered hahaha. I think a lot of buyers would freak out if they see how fast their cars are driven and how closely they're parked to each other and the surrounding structural elements on the boat.
