Two questions for Inovative Soft:
- If my 2019 PCM5 does not have the CarPlay option, will your "Porsche Android Auto Activation Full Screen 1772x650" add Android Auto?
- Is this wireless Android Auto?

Just an update, for my 2019, the Ottocast U2-X Pro adapter did not work, nor did the Smart World Company CP-AA adapter.
I updated the firmware in each adapter to the latest, still doesn't work. CarPlay briefly starts on the PCM screen, then it stops.
Both returned to Amazon. Bummer......
Maybe I don't have the CarPlay option on my PCM5, but the home screen shows a tile "Apple CarPlay, no device connected"

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion yet until you test out a true Carplay connection with an iPhone. I'm curious to hear what happens when one is plugged in.

I have a question hoping to get an answer regarding Android Auto and Carplay. I did not realize there were multiple vendors selling this mod, so I had the full hd Android auto activation done by someone I found on Macan forums.
One thing I noticed is, and I am not sure if anyone tested this, my 2021 Macan has wireless CarPlay from the factory. After the activation of android auto I purchased a Motorola MA1 adapter to get the wireless Android working so I don’t have to plug the phone in all the time because I noticed using the cable was not always working 100% (Samsung S22 usb cable).
The MA1 adapter works great and boots up Android auto every time I get in the car. The one issue I have encountered is when my fiancé drives the car, she is an IPhone user. She has her phone paired with the car too and CarPlay automatically pops up when she gets in the car. That is fine, I don’t care except when I go back to drive Android Auto is no longer automatically popping up for me like it used to. I have to reset the PCM to get my AA back (which obviously removes both phones from the car).
Was this solution from Innovativesoft for Android Auto also tested with this scenario? Meaning 2 drivers, one has IPhone the other is and Android user? I can not tell if it is the Motorola MA1 adapter that is crappy or what because connecting by usb able does not always work all the time.

This is just a suggestion. Instead of "resetting the PCM", when you want to use AA and this issue is occurring, try a wired AA connection first, and if the AA activates, then unplug the wire and plug in the MA1. This might force it to switch over.
