I came here expecting something different. That said, I have tracked my Macan GTS (stock tires) once at a lead/follow event and it held up surprisingly well. I do sporadically track my F80 M3 by way of comparison. It's a different experience sitting so high up on a track and it feels quite empowering in a Macan. The Macan corners well, doesn't roll and brakes very well but the exit is where is doesn't do so well. Maybe it's because the PDK hadn't really learned any track tricks or maybe it was some turbo lag or the Macan weight or maybe all of those factors. If I were to spend more time on a track, I definitely would need to learn how to do paddles. Another bummer is that brake pad replacement requires the calipers to come off (and those one time use bolts) plus you have to deal with the electric rear parking brake, so track specific pads would be a definite pain in the ***.

Tracking your Macan is definitely worth doing. So when your tires get to 3/32, try it out for a few hours!

My car was completed 7/4, confirmed by SA to be on Glovis Sunlight which departed Emden 8/2. Seems like there is just one ship a month headed to Benecia.

My GTS has now missed the third transport ship leaving for San Diego since my car arrived at Emden storage lot. Next Porsche system forecasted pickup date is 8/19, a date that is not even yet posted on the VW transport ship schedule. And why my car has already missed three ships is just a guess, being blamed on dockworkers strike but nobody really knows.

Kind of the same with mine, SA told me yesterday, because of the strike my car is scheduled to be shipped to S. Diego on Aug12,
the only possible ship might be the Cygnus Leader, it is on the way to Bremerhaven and then Emden to be loaded before sailing
to S. Diego that maybe the middle of August…who knows.

The VW schedule is overdue for an update. I think it was last updated around July 21.

Here is carrier’s schedule including the Cygnus Leader.

The SIEM CONFUCIUS just left Emden this evening with its second stop being Baltimore, hoping my car is on that ship. If not my next chance is the SFL COMPOSER which is expected to arrive in Emden Early tomorrow morning and then head straight to Baltimore.

Yes, it is time to get an updated schedule, the only way to get some current information is by going online
to a vessel tracking website.

What does, “Port call subject to inducement” mean? See * and bottom right of schedule.

Found answer: INDUCEMENT:When steamship lines publish in their schedules the name of a port and the words “by inducement” in parentheses, this means the vessel will call at the port if there is a sufficient amount of profitable cargo available and booked

My ship was anchored off Jacksonville for a day, then pulled up to the dock very late last night.

Should arrive in Halifax, Canada on August 14. Already passed though the English Channel and is in the Atlantic.

Oh boy...
