Question Getting our 2022 ordered Macans after 2023 models released

Posts from some Rennlist members indicate that their 2023 models, some ordered as recently as June 2022, are already on ships heading to the US. How do those, like me, who ordered 2022 models (mine a Macan S ordered 3/31/2022 that was supposed to have been delivered 7/8/2022) feel about receiving them 2+ months late and after 2023 models are already delivered to buyers? Should we chalk it up to these weird times and be pleased we got them and saved the $2,000+/- price increase or……….?

I went into the configurator today and found out Bose sound system has been removed. It is neither in the premium package plus nor the audio section. I opened my build and was prompted this option has been removed. My SA will check for me next week if it is on my final build sheet from the factory…it will be a deal breaker for me if the car arrives without it.

Update: it is still available in the GTS configurator, but all the non-GTS trims do not have the Bose option anymore

I will be happy to get my car even if it is on a ship sitting next to 2023 models. Weird times… I’ll take the $2k and look for years of hopefully problem free enjoyment. I know I could have gotten a car sooner if I had shopped around, but an August or September delivery (six months or so from order) was good for me.

The Glovis Sunlight is approaching its first stop in South America!

I placed my order in April and told my SA to only start production in July so I can get 2023. Yea, paying more than 2022, part of it is forcing us to get ACC.

Mine is also on Glovis Sunlight! Need my SA to confirm if Bose is on it or not.

I also have a July build and just spoke with my SA and the car will have Bose. It is only vehicles ordered from this point forward that will be affected. So your July build should be fine.

My Dealer is also Porsche of Carlsbad... my car has been waiting for a boat since 07/22, I was hoping it will be loaded into the Cygnus Leader, yeah right!
SA just told me it didn't make it, and it will be on a next ship with 08/26 departure. Disappointed to say the least!

Default My Macan T

So my Macan T arrived in Baltimore this past weekend. Got word yesterday it’s a port hold for its EPA rating. Does anyone have any insight on a rough ETA? Dealer is also reaching out to find out.

My Macan S also arrived at Baltimore over the weekend, just spoke with my SA today and it is already on a truck and will be at the dealership on Friday. The EPA rating could be something that effects the 4 cylinder engines.

It might just need software update for EPA emission standards and requirements.
