Has anyone with current Macan builds on order heard anything about delays due to the recent chips and other parts supply issues? Wondering if Porsche will be able to side step this industry-wide problem. Could impact desirability of ordering vs. buying on lot, obviously.

I was denied my GTS allocation today that was put in a few weeks ago but not yet locked due to a manufacturing issue regarding the seats the dealer told me.
He said no changes can be made to any existing orders or they lose 14 or 18 way seats if specified.
Said no allocations until after August which I think will be the revised model potentially....
First world problems I know lol.

Any updates on when the 2022 Macan updates will be released? I have read and seen some spy shots, but not heard anything official from Porsche. Looking at ordering a 2022 GTS and hoping for some infomatics updates and they will convert to the haptic center console instead of all the buttons.
Anyone know if/when any changes in the Macan would be announced?

My 2021 Macan GTS build locked V250 on April 16 and V260 entry on April 30. Dealer inventory, V900 has been moved from July 23 to July 2. My dealer told me that I shouldn’t experience and delays or parts issues. I really like the look of the Sport Design Mirrors and the fact that they are all one color as opposed to a black base and body color top.

Just my opinion, but I can't believe Porsche would just kill their best selling vehicle. Last thing I saw on line was that the ICE Macan will continue with only a few changes and the EV version will have more Taycan like looks and they will sell both side by side for now. Seems like the EV Macan should have a different name more like Taycan vs Panamera. I just don't think the numbers support that everyone is ready to move to an EV.
I sure hope that the ICE Macan doesn't become a red-haired stepchild. If that is the circumstance, it would seem to be better to just keep the current-gen ICE Macan and milk the remaining sales.

Had past by the dealer 2 weeks ago to order my 2021 GTS and was told because of chip shortage I could only buy what they have. I started looking at the 2022 model and didn't like the console but like the new interior technology and rear bumper.
So I ordered a 2022 for December delivery with allot of options...... New colors to be announced but I choose chalk I am also thinking of upgrading the brakes.

You can't go wrong with Chalk. That's what I chose for mine as well!
