I have a 2017 Macan GTS with tow hitch package. I am purchasing a Triton trailer to tow my side by side and I am wondering what ball mount is recommended? What drop amount? Size?
Thanks!
Thanks!

ask the store where you are buying the trailer. it's all about tongue weight and trailer height. or if you are buyng it privately take it to a reputable hitch installer and ask about the right configuration. it the trailer is espeically low or high compared to your Macan you will need to balance that out BEFORE you put the sXs on or tow even the empty trailer very far.

I appreciate all of the replies. The trailer is being sold by a local ATV/SxS dealer. With respect to vendors, is there one preferred. Most of the ones I have researched are for heavy duty towing.

if this is the only trailer you'll be towing figure out the tongue height and weight on the bumper (ie how much it will drop the car) and grab a curtis or reese of sufficient drop with the right ball size.
If you might need to tow different trailers, different ***** sizes, checkout Fastway.
I towed a track car trailer for many 1000's of miles with my cayenne using one of their adjustable aluminum hitches. This was great as I could adjust the ball height, for example if i didn't have my spare wheels the car would drop less. Or towing a rental from u-haul for a move, etc. It has 2 different ***** 2 and 2 5/16 and is class 4 rated.

Even if the trailer is too high, you just measure the drop to flatten out the trailer, with the atv on it and it hooked to the car. Its nothing to be worried about. Odds are, its a 2 inch ball and you will not need any drop on a sxs and a 7x16 ft trailer. the macan is low, you may need to flip the bar and raise it

You can either buy a fixed height bar? or maybe even an adjustable height one. Keep in mind, the more adjust ability, the more it will rattle.
