    Ferhan,
    Sorry I just saw your message. Did you buy the car? My impression was that it was a good solid car that has not been driven enough over the last few years and began to suffer, ie oil leas, non-op AC, hoses, belts etc. it drove just fine with no issues I could uncover, with the exception that after idling then accelerating I did see some smoke-- maybe valve guides? Not bad at all but I did notice it. The owner wouldn't budge on price and i think $29k is just too much for lal that the car needs. I offered $27.5 on the condition that a PPI wouldn't uncover more serious issues and he declined my offer, leading me to wonder what issues he was worried about finding. Let me know how it turns out.

    Hi Aldo;

    I have read in a post last week that you have driven a white 964 in Austin TX. I am about to do PPI for that car, and if everything looks fine, I am planning to fly to Austin and check the car, and possibly make a purchase. But, in the meantime, I wanted to ask you your impression about it besides what you have already written about it. What could you say about the way it drove. The owner told me about few problems, oil leak, bad AC, bad starter motor, fraying belts, etc... But what was your impression behind the wheel? Steering, shifts, engine, throttle response, etc... I am a little hesitant about this car, but on the other hand, there are no 964 C2 coupes around, so this seems like a good option. Also, does it look like the owner has been taking good care of the car, or does it look like a car waiting to be sold?

    I know this e-mail might come out a little awkward, but I would appreciate any feedback.

    Thanks in advance,

    Best
