Sorry bro, I know what can be done there. Was this your theo time again? Or what? All I know is that I not only passed you, but later lapped you at an event in 2006. Your excuse was that you had a student in your car. I recall telling you that I also had a student in my own car. That particular session, I only did a 2:18-something. I always drive slower with passengers, especially at my own events. I've seen you drive, recall. I do not think you are a bad driver, but based upon observation, you did NOT go as fast as you just quoted. Give me a break, bro. You are still worrying about what others think of you. I often do the same -- except I don't make up b.s. stories to cover my trail; I just accept the fact that I am slow for now, and need to practice more. Why can't you get that?

It is not shameful to be slow . . . it is, however, shameful to claim you are fast even though you are not. If you admit the truth, you just might be a 'contender' someday. Practice humility. It works. Peace . . .
you passed me when i was cruising... big deal. lol. my yellow hatch did 2:11.x. i'll have to dig up some datalog. i don't have to lie about anything when it comes to lap times. it's either on full datalog or GPS, or lap beacon.

I thought you were an instructor. How can a well driven GT3 be so slow that a del sol was right on it's tail.

Also, how about you post some times that aren't 3 years old and wheel to wheel.

DE times are pointless.

talking to students, exiting track early for some reason, saving the car, blah blah. there are many instances/reasons when you don't need to go 100% all the times, esp. at DE's. it's not a race, it's just practice/seat time.

I had this longish post all ready to go, but then deleted it, because this is just not worth my time.

just admit a 2:06.x isn't exactly slow poke rate. the theoretical lap for delsol is... hahahahhaah... FartMachine should do a 2:00-01 lap. It has to... for it to be completive in H1.

According to http://www.nasaproracing.com/results...l?runid=553487 the fastest HC1 car was a 2:04:77 . . . Yes, a 2:06 is a fast time . . . I just don't believe you did it. Can you find real evidence of this? I'm sorry, but you could have doctored that thing you posted from Speed Ventures. Also, remember that the times at the NASA site are RACE times -- it is much harder to attain a fast time when dealing with traffic. Heck, even national champion David Vodden only did a 2:08:0 in his Spec Miata, and I KNOW you can't beat him. Granted, that was a slackish time for Vodden, but he only pushes his car when he actually has to. Justin Hall, now a Pro Racer in the MX-5 series, is the only guy I've ever seen do a 2:06 with the bypass -- and he's WAY better than you and many right here on this list. In fact, Justin won the MX-5 cup last year, in his first season as a Pro Racer. Facts are facts, some people are just that good. The rest of us are just average.

Again . . . these lap times were from RACES. If you really got a 2:06 during a time trial dealer-bobber, then you'd likely only get more like a 2:12+ doing W2W. You are basically comparing apples and oranges when you make lap time claims on a clean track. Just don't be too disappointed when you go racing and your lap times aren't what you'd expect based on time trials (or did you call it time attack? Same idea). I did time trials for a while back in 2001 -- my times there were about four or five seconds faster than I've ever done at a race.

If you would just start showing up for race weekends you would have some official AMB times on mylaps.com to point to. Until then, nobody is going to believe the times you post. The only times I can find for you on mylaps.com are from a time attack where you were 7 seconds behind your class winner.

It IS interesting that since people have been commenting on your sexual preferences, you have appeared to become very homophobic. So now we see you are a racist, a sexist and homophobic as well as one who makes fun of the mentally handicapped. BTW - I have a good friend who has a close relative who has such challenges, so every time you call anyone a 'tard' you truly show what an *** you are.

BTW, I think you have missed the Jews, Blacks and Canadians in your racist, biased attacks.
