Default VIR - 2:01.473- 22 Jun 2018 - Pirelli slicks - Mono-ball Suspension

First trip to VIR. Wow! What an amazing and scary track. Every time I went up the climbing esses, I expected to end up flying off the road. Which I even did once! I ran my PB during a practice session of the PCA "Rumble at the Oak Tree' Club Race.

Default UMC 1:39.6 West Track

Did a 1:39.60 on the West track configuration of Utah Motorsports Campus (not "Ranch"; formerly known as Miller Motorsports Park) on Saturday. Hoosier R7s, camber. Unfortunately, I stepped on my can bus wiring to the VBOX so no brake, throttle, steering, etc. on the video. :-

This time is only .2 faster than my last time but I got video this time. It was also end of day on 5 day old RE71Rs - I expect good things next time I go to PIR with fresh tires.

1:24.27 Portland International Raceway
RE71R on 19" Forgelines, alignment bits, 3.6 3.0 f/r camber, Tarret spring kit, medium / hard sway bars

So, I go away for a month and I see that 24Chromium has taken over the world. Wow! The Martini mobile is coming to a track near you! Yes, definitely a bucket list thing i would love to experience.

Really do need to account for tires and performance enhancing mods when making these comparisons. For example, at Summit Point, I'd expect Hoosiers to be worth about 2 secs relative to RE71R, and good slicks maybe a further 2 secs. Basically, Hoosiers on a GT4 should put the 991.1 GT3 in the cross-hairs of the GT4. The RE71R itself seems a bit gripper and more predictable and consistent than the Cup 2, judging from butt dyno using RE71R on the GT4 vs Cup 2 on the 991.1 GT3.

Matt, you missed my lap at Mid-Ohio, post #1213. Please update that circuit. I humbly request to toss out the current first place holder, as no verification has been provided.

FYI....Lars was running DH's and for the record - at Road ATL his were brand new while mine were on their 12th heat cycle...just saying! But yes, at least 2sec difference, maybe even 3-4 on fresh rubber.

Default Ran 2:22.4 @ Sebring in January at Winterfest 2018

Video is located on this link:

Video is Porsche Precision App with all details. Car is stock programming with no ECU tune. It has BMC air filters. Steel brakes so I am running PFC pads on Brembo Type 3 rotors and SRF brake fluid. I have a track alignment with Hoosier R7s on 19" OZ wheels. That should put me at the top of the current list.

Any plans to come up here to PacNW? we have some lovely tracks, would love to see what you can do. Both Oregon Raceway Park and the Ridge have huge elevation changes, lots of fun.

Hey thanks for updating - would you mind also adding?

I had a new CCW Oregon Raceway Park time w/ video here: https://rennlist.com/forums/gt4/9393...l#post14992231

Could you add video to my Ridge Motorsports Park time?

Thank you so much for maintaining this thread, its made the GT4 experience even more fun!
