Best Track Times in a GT4

Went out with Speed District to Buttonwillow early today running 13CW. Beat my personal best set back in April by 1 second running RE71Rs at 1:53.5 (no mods on the car since then but I dropped 35lbs). I had 1:52.8 on my Solo as the predicted time before I hit Phil Hill/Magic Mountain which I F'ed up. Here's the video...

i'm considering running the new solo 2 DL next track season to step up my analysis (and hopefully get faster). Do you have the PnP option or are you running a hardwired harness?

I'm running a Solo DL that Spyerx spliced into the ECU via the Can Bus along with a SmartyCam. I like the set-up because it is plug and play along with the video and data being all synced up.

The track is like a combo of different turns just randomly pasted together, it's a fun track and where I started tracking years ago. I'll send you over the data later on tonight.

Wow, that was a nice light traffic day at Buttonwillow with Speed District. How many cars and run groups were there?
I ask because right now my GT4 is garaged here in WI, but I have scheduled retirement for this spring and next year will be free all season. My plan is to drive to Monterey at the end of Sept for Rennsport Reunion and then take the GT4 to SoCal where I have family to park it for the winter season. Then I can plan a couple of trips to visit car and family and want to sample the So Cal and NorCal tracks. Willow Springs and Buttonwillow at least in SoCal and hope to find sessions at Laguna Seca and then either Sonoma or Thunderhill that are close enough together to make it in one trip up north.
I spend the summer season mostly at my "home track" of Road America. Come next "off season" here, I will be asking for advice on which clubs are best to run with in Cal. Here I've done PCAs with Nordstern (Minnesota), Chicago, and Milwaukee, and also MVP and Shelby Club. I can recommend all of these for a nice midwest track experience.

There were only 32 people out at Buttonwillow last Friday for Speed District.
I've ran with Speed District for my past 4 events and it's hard to go back to any other organizations after running with Josh/SD.
