Are you also selling the 991.1 GT3?
Thanks. GT4 has been a blast, but I'm ready for something new, like a .2GT3 with a manual. .1 GT3 has already been sold. :-)

I'm gonna try to make it out both in Jan and March but it depends on my work schedule...worst case I'll come out for a day.

Can't wait to see it! Should be a blast. I also think about moving on to a GT3 but it's not in the cards at the moment... I drove my buddies last friday for the first time and now im hooked.

Sebring - 2:29.08 - Dunlop Race Maxx tires

Car has a few more seconds left on street tires. I will get there. Would've been a 2:28 if I hadn't taken an inside line at turn 7 after passing the Lotus.

I saw this before you corrected the time and near had a heart attack at that 2:09 lol, the best we've gotten a GT4 down to on Sebring is a 2:17. Well done on the 2:29! Especially considering you potentially had a little less front downforce per the Armadillo haha.

I'm running times similar to that in my CR, so I'd say we should go out in the same session and have some fun together : )

Haha I know, I was thinking of WGI where I would run 2:09s. I'll be back instructing with Chin 1/27-1/28 and will be there with Suncoast in April. We should do it! On another note, my car needs new brake pads / my tires were very greasy that last session even at 25 PSI cold.

Great to hear you'll be joining us in April, I'll be sure Amy has us registered in the same group. We'll also be at the Chin event doing track support, typically near the last bathroom at the east end of the concrete paddock. Always a good group of guys, we'd love to have you join us : )

Let's chat a bit about your pads/tires, I'm sure we can help get that situated for you

That is very quick for Hallett. Is that with your 18 ways or did you do some track mods? CW or CCW?

CCW, 18 ways, a decent amount of negative camber (~1.8), and probably a thousand laps at Hallett over the years.

I drove MSR Cresson 1.7 CCW and Harris Hill Road CW during the holidays. 1st time to drive 1.7 CCW config but it's just a part of 3.1 so nothing really new... I've driven Cayman R a lot at H2R several years back but never drive GT4 so just wanted to try if I can renew my personal best. As the track condition is much worse than when I ran 1m22.9s on R almost 5 years ago, I wasn't even able to match... I didn't have enough courage to push the car that hard.

Anyway, there are the results.
MSR-C 1.7 CCW 1m19.61s (amb 78F) https://youtu.be/m4CoBvNGqiM
H2R CW 1m23.92s (amb 64F) https://youtu.be/yFsiPwjkpcA

GT4 mods: OE size RE-71R, DSC V2 controller, mid/stiff ARB
Thanks Hawk Yama, I've updated your time at MSR Cresson, and thank you for sharing with us a new track and time at H2R Harris Hill Raceway!

Default Request for Best Track Guides!

So, I was thinking....I would like to add "Track Guides" for each course. This thread has a lot of helpful content thanks to everyone's posts and video shares. If you have created a track guide, or found one on the web you recommend, please share with us! I will hot-link it to the track's heading in the thread. I personally have found many IRACING track guides to be extremely helpful - so if you have found a good one, share it too! The other day my friend was struggling on his first solo laps at NOLA. So, I made this guide for NOLA. It is not perfect, and shows many driving errors but he said it help immensely. Thanks! Matt

Check out https://www.raceoptimal.com/ if you are not familiar with it. Might be an additional resource to add. They have a wide range of tracks (NOLA is available).
