Here are some for buttonwillow raceway, config 13CW
http://zone8.pcasdr.org/index.php?p=...=ROY&c=CAR#CAR
Car 124 GT4 Clubsport: 1:52.59
Car 270 GT4 Street (hoosiers): 1:53.45
I should add a pro was coaching these drivers and turned 1:48-49 in both of them. The modded street GT4 and CS were VERY close in times. (as they sat, current setup)

From: Mid-Atlantic (on land, not in the middle of the ocean)
I finally had a chance to drive the GT4 for a day, at my home track, Summit Point. The car was totally showroom stock aside from SRF and RE10 pads, with Cup 2 tires about a year old (~20 heat cycles and 5K road miles), hot pressures around 33, ambient temp about 60F and mostly cloudy.
I didn't have many clear laps, but I did some 23s while focused on getting a feel for the car rather than pace, and 22s should be very doable. In its current form, I don't think I could get to 21s.
I did find the car to understeer a bit more than I'd like, which I was mostly able to address with trailbraking. Tweaking the car as others have done may be an option (seems to be worth about 2 sec at this track, which is a lot). If I happen to get a chance to do a few laps in a GT4 at Summit Point with the typical mods and adjustments, that might sway me to go for it.

Did I see Randy Pobst in the list?? He was the coach?
Did you or Martin run timed? Was Martin in his RS?
Fast times for sure.

Martin did run his RS and while texting and bashing stealers on rennlist did a 152. That is a sub 150 car stock.
No, the pro was there during a private event earlier in the week. Different pro, but strong pedigree like Randy :-)
Randy was driving a cayman turbo motor monster for a shop customer doing tuning and setup. Clearly he's fast. The top time I think was a 991 cup car. Passed us like standing still.

I didn't run my GT4. Martin ran his GT4 earlier in the week, but was right at his last PB, a couple 10's off (tires).

I was at tws this past weekend. An instructor had a carmine red completely stock gt4 with Bridgestone re71r and ran a 1:51.xx. Stock pads. Stock fluids. He did have some dsc module. But that's it. The rest of us were just in shock by how fast the car was in capable hands.

Lap Time: 1:20.355
Tires: 20 " BridgeStone RE71R
Mods: none
Video:
Notes: NASA official AMB Transponder time was 1:20.355 (link to NASA results here). But Harry's laptimer thought it was 1:20.40
Clean laps were tough with the slower cars. And I'm embarrassed the fastlap included such a mistake at turn 5. anyway, it is what it is - until 2017...

Could you tell us about your setup as far as alignment, sway bars, aero, etc.?
How do you compare the grip of the RE71R with the Cup 2?
What kind of peak numbers did your G-meter in the car show? Min 96 mph through T4 and 101 mph at exit of T10 is cooking.

That's a fast lap! Seriously, I think you're in Pobst territory with that lap time.

Sway Bars - Hard Rear, Soft Front
Aero - front removed per manual, Rear full wing angle
Wheels - OZ 20" (same size as OEM) (fronts 1.2 lb lighter, rear .8 lb lighter)
Alignment - FrCam -2.8 RearCam -2.0 FrTotToe -.05 RearTotToe +.32 Caster 9.3 (allignment shop installed Tarett Front Tie Rod, Rear Toe Link, Thrust Arm Bushing to get <-2.0 camber)
Fuel - ~95 octane (not 93) as I was reading in the forums 93 min and 95 fine in Germany...
Weather - perfect (sunny, ~55F)
I believe the RE71R's are ~ 1 second quicker than CUP2, in my case several factors changed so inclusive... but most people think they are a little faster though.
The MPH in my data can be trusted because it's OBD2 data. (My skypro xGPS160 was incompatible with Harry's lap timer, so, I used my gopoint OBD2 data as the Wheel speed mph in the video. It's more accurate than IOS @1hz for sure, just wish Harry would fix the GPS issue with new XGPS firmware).
mid 1:20's was my theoretical goal prior to the event. I think the weather was better than expected, and my alignment changed for the worse half way through the first day. With a clear track, 1:19's were very likely. traffic mgmt was an issue being in the front and catching rear so quickly.
About the alignment --- this is what I have to figure out - but I suspect something came loose in the alignment mid day 1, and the steering wheel would want to shift bad on bumps, also the steering wheel got uncentered.
On the day 1's final practice session I had a passenger, and the "weirdness" was too much for me and I brought it in after two mid 1:21's feeling uncomfortable. The steering wheel was doing crazier things with a passenger and getting colder especially in brakes that session.
I checked all the bolts that 1st night, and they all seemed tight. This is what the steering wheel looked like leaving Summit after day 2 (straight road!! :0) It was getting colder, I didn't refill the tire pressure (shame) if i had to guess, the pressures were about 23ish). But get this, the ESP turned off. I guessed it couldn't keep up with the craziness of stability just like me!?!?
Anyway, if anyone has any ideas to what I experienced - hollar. Otherwise, I'm going to look underneath one more time before I bring it to the alignment shop to see what numbers we are at now. One guy at track said maybe my "bump steer" is off. But I'm just a driver and horrible with a wrench - I'll have to figure out what that means..
