Default Clear Engine Cover

Installed my Clear engine cover with lighting. Super easy install. Big shout out to Henry for making a quality kit. No cutting, no drilling, no splicing. Fully reversible and looks like a factory option.

Looks good! I'm currently working with Henry to develop a quick-release engine cover to allow for access to the engine bay without having to remove all the trim. He's a class act and really knows his stuff—anyone considering ordering anything from him can rest easy knowing they're getting a quality product 👍🏼

Does it look similar on the 718 GT4?

New (to me) GT4 owner. First owner of the car tracked it hard and put it away a bit wet. Hard to replace some horrid Pagid yellows and factory irons, but got a nice little upgrade with AP Racing J hooks and factory pads. Got the IPD Plenum/GT3 throttle body installed with a BMC air filter as well. I'm guessing the original air filter was still in there (29k kms) and about a pound of crap came out of it. I think I gained about 30 hp just from having a clean filter.

AP Racing J Hooks

It should. Henry's cover is cross compatible with the 4 cylinder 982s (which isn't much of a looker, to be honest), so assuming that nothing in the rear cargo area has changed for the new 4.0L GTS + GT4, this cover should work in those cars no problem. However I'd reach out to Henry over on Planet 9 (user name OneTimeCS) and ask, just to be sure.

I didn't do anythign to it yesterday. I did however drive it to the auto parts store to gets the rest of the stuff I needed to slide the transmission back into the SRT-10 after rebuilding it due to a failed snap ring turning a bunch of big metal parts into little metal parts.

The truck has never been babied. I'm surprised the clutch lasted 60k. It just so happened the trans failed and saved me the trouble of having to take it out a second time after putting a clutch in it.

QuickJacks for the win again. If you only connect one of them it makes a fairly effective transmission jack.

Installed clear indicators, much better than the orange, which looks particularly egregious on red imo.

Put some new wheels on yesterday, BC Forged Monoblock EH172 in brushed bronze. 20x8.5/20x11. Replaced my very cooked Cup2's with the Goodyear Eagle Supercar3 in factory tire sizing. Will be great getting this car on the track in two weeks.
