I'm having a hard time trying to find someone to haul mine away.

First time at the track since buying it earlier this year. Road America. Quite a difference compared to my M2. A much more technical car. All good. Day 2 tomorrow!

I spent most of the day puling off GeoJoe's track setup and putting the alignment numbers back to something a little more daily driver tire wear friendly.

I didn't take them all out. She still has about 1.2 degrees in the rear and 1.5 in the front. If they are that valuable I can pick up some 7075, whip up a little code for the mill and a fixture and start cranking them out.

If you do you would most likely find a market for them. The 997.2 and I believe the .1 GT3 along with aftermarket monoballs use the same shims.

Took it to MotoAmerica at PittRace over the weekend.
As I arrived (going VERY slowly through crowded paddock) a family was crossing in front of the car. A boy (maybe 10 years old) was giving thumbs up and so excited to see the car.
Me: “would you like to get in”?
Boy: runs over to passenger side
Me: “how about driver’s side” (as I exit the car)
Boy: “REALLY???” He got in and pretended to be driving as his parents took pics. So excited! He honks the horn!
There are many aspects of car ownership which I enjoy - but sharing with enthusiasts, especially kids - brings great joy!
^Front straight - getting ready to start a race
^Just before start
^From Spectator Hill
^Hot pit row
^Cool truck
^Lots of big rigs
^Umbrella girls (because it was starting to rain)
