I looked on Porsche Tequipment and it will let you order factory spacers for 981 Boxter, S and GTS but not Spyder. I think the wheels are too wide already. Please someone confirm if they have proof this is a Tequipment error and it is possible to add the spacers.

I talked to Dave at Wheel Enhancement in Los Angeles about 7 weeks ago. He saw no issues and even said I can go up to a non factory kit of 7mm in the rear no problem. But I would rather stick with Porsche parts.
That was the skinny I got.
I might do it in a couple of weeks.

Ok good news thanks. Please let us know how you get on when you do it. Obviously no snow chains but also hopefully no strange scraping noises!

Hi Gerald, I am happy for you that you finally could enjoy some top down driving with your beautiful Spyder
My own baby already got the opportunity to enjoy a nice foursome
Mega fun ! I can't describe the sound this band produced in a long tunnel - think Monte Carlo during F1 weekend....
Sorry for the crap car in the background destroying the pic's geometry..

Those are the only pics. Saw it on pff.de. I believe it has the classic interior though.

Yes, it's the red classic interior. Finally a picture of the "forbidden" Sapphire Blue with Red interior. I like it a lot.

Not sure about the red wheels on Sapphire Blue! I don't think they look elegant. And, too distracting.
