Mine is tucked in the garage at DCR on the battery tender. I had to cancel my March trip so I’ll see you in April.

2016. Bought used with less than 2K miles.

I swapped out wheels for 20" 911 turbo wheels (chrome) for the look. Also want to change seat belts to Guard's Red for the look.

My favorite part of the window sticker was the vent slats in GR.... a $1200 option!

Had a 2015 Boxster GTS in Dark Blue Metallic that I traded in to get this. Loving the 3.8, X73 suspension, color and the 18 way seats (GTS had basic, 4-way seats); not loving the manual roof but getting used to it.

Doesn't the Spyder have a unique rear wheel size?

Yes, Spyder has bespoke front and rear wheels. However, tire sizes are the same (front: 235/35ZR20 rear: 265/35ZR20).

981 GTS wheels: Front: 8Jx20 ET57 Rear: 9.5Jx20 ET45

981 Spyder wheels: Front: 8.5Jx20 ET57 Rear: 10.5Jx20 ET47

Clearances (both static and dynamic) were fine when the wheels were switched and using the rim and tire size calculator at wheel-size.com, front 5mm spacers and rear 10mm spacers were used to keep the backspace almost the same (even w/o the spacers, there were no fitment issues). For the rears, it seems I could go up to a 275/35-20 tire when I replace what I have on now.

I've just never been a fan of the OEM Spyder wheels and like the 911 Turbo wheels. Also, the OEM wheels were black and the ones I put on are chrome, which I think is a better look.

Having a real camera instead of a cell phone helps! (Unless you're Jeff Qwart)
