Couple more pics and some driving feedback...
Pics show some of my favourite options including chrome stingers and radio delete!
Picked the car up today, trading in the 991 GT3, which I was pretty apprehensive about I can tell you. I'll post a more detailed review on the comparison between them in a few days but the initial impressions are good and the Spyder is different but holds its own. The manual gearbox is easily the best I've ever driven; so mechanical yet smooth and tight at the same time. A tactile delight to use with rev-matching enabled or no. Handling is precise and feels incredibly solid for a roadster. Just breaking her in but at low revs the sound with PSE is simply rude . The steering feel is just about good enough. It's not totally dead like the Carrera or standard Boxter I've previously had on loan. Feel is almost as good as the 991 GT3 so I'll be OK with it. More later.
