I am sure you have tried this approach; let me ask anyway. Have you tried taking it at an extreme angle? I live in an apartment building. The underground parking's ramp drops in steep. In the S2000, I take it at an aggressive angle, almost by 45 degrees or higher. Only twice I have taken the Spyder through the ramp, following the same aggressive entry/exit. Haven't scrapped it.
You could try patching the entry point, if possible. Some cities don't allow that though.

Love the silver belts . . .
Congrats on your beauty and great call on the silver belts. I think yours are the first pics I've seen of the silver belts in the Classic interior. Well played!

Or something like this (at a non-griots price) if you live in a suburban environment :

Carmine should have been offered as a special color vs. PTS

Is that Guards Red? Like it better than Sapphire Blue!! Simply pops! Or, is that Carmine?

A familiar face there at Porsche. . . . .
The gentleman in the second pic with the lovely carmine red spyder is Ronny Till, a senior Porsche Factory Delivery Specialist. Ronnie has been working for Porsche for 35 years. I took factory delivery from him of my PTS RS America back in 1992. When I personally caught up with him in Stuttgart back last June he still had pictures in his file of us standing next to my new car! Now that was a pleasant surprise but it demonstrates the emphasis on personal customer service that pervades the Porsche brand. As it was then, and still is today, Euro/factory delivery is a very special experience which should be aspirational to all serious Porsche owners. You won't have the singular experience of dining at the table next to Ferry Porsche in the Executive Dining room as I did, but you'll come away with pleasant surprises and lifelong memories that are priceless.

Have my European delivery scheduled on June 7 In Stuttgart. Looking forward to it. I had European delivery scheduled for my GT3 but due to the engine delays I canceled and went with the standard US delivery.
