I like the red accent side intakes. Adds a good contrast.

Came out of work today and thought this would be a nice pic with the rain drops.

Nice combo!

Question. Looks like you went with the non-PDLS headlights which I am looking at doing. Do the headlights get the black tint like the PDLS ones? Also, are they the same wattage?

Thanks, Dalema. Yes, they are non-PDLS. And, yes, they have black background, which is stock. I looked up the specs for the bulbs in the manual; here they are:

These pix are killing me... mine is supposed to hit the dealership in early March, which means it won't get driven for about a month considering weather in IA that time of year. Wish it was being delivered to AZ...

(if I hadn't gotten PTS, I may have gotten that Saphire blue- that is nice! Also got the std headlights- didn't want the washers...)

skl, by mid March, you are probably looking at drivable weather! Due to El Nino, you are likely be facing rain instead of snow! That's my forecast anyway!

Funny, I would have preferred a PTS color; but, Sapphire Blue is a cool color!

Question about the washers: if the lights are OFF and you spray the windshield, will the washers stay off? One thing I hate about headlight washers is how they get the car all dirty, can you avoid this? I had an Audi which worked this way, headlights off, spray windshield and they stayed off.

I don't understand the point of headlight washers. I've had three Porsches with the washers and have never even tried using them.

Thanks for that info. Wonder how the manual correlates with the note from the configurator for PDLS:

"Bi-Xenon headlights (35 watts) with the following additional functions: dynamic cornering lights, speed-sensitive headlight range control and headlight cleaning system. Headlights and headlight cleaning system covers in black"

As I understand it, they remove loose dust etc which causes issues with light from the xenons, light refraction maybe? In some countries they are a standard fitment when xenons are option on the car, countries such as Australia, that are deemed susceptible to dust.

Not only that, but I thought the non-PDLS bulbs are supposed to be 25w.

Configurator's specs could be most recent than the printed manuals. One way to confirm is to call the service or parts.
