More likely the Holiday...as mine is now in Baltimore since 12/30
Bingo! Production stopped over the holidays. I know a few people that had a expected completion during the break but there schedule was delayed due to the holidays. Funny thing is that they didn't account for it until after the fact!
After all the opinions posted, and after seeing all the Spyders become loaded like GTS models, I have decided to go more minimal (almost) with my build (just a few days left):
GT Silver
GT Classic Interior
18 way seats
Manual A/C
CDR w/ Sound Pkg. Plus
Seat Heat
Leather Steering Wheel and Shifter
Black Satin Wheels
PDLS
All other no-add options
And, that's about it, if my memory serves me right.
This is a car to be driven and appreciated for what it is.
A driver's car!
I plan on keeping it, so my family will appreciate it's future value (if any).
Still, analogue (as much as possible) is the best way to go.

you HAVE to get the backup camera. don't skimp on that, your rear bumper will thank you.
Yeah, I know. I fretted over not having a reversing camera, but the only way I could get it required that I get the CDR+ or Bose, which meant the satellite wart between the humps.
I had a 981 Boxster, and there's no doubt that it is hard to see backing up, but I think I can handle it. Besides, I intend to go forward a lot more than backward.
I have no idea why Porsche didn't offer the distance warning beepers.
This will be a keeper car. The one that I plan on repeating all the terrific drives I have made over the years in my '79 911SC, and more. It will be my total driving enjoyment Porsche.
I have my '12 C4S, or my wife's '13 Cayenne Diesel (a fabulous vehicle), for everything else.
6 more newborns of various colors including another couple of GT Silver and one Euro Delivery. A lot of Carbon Buckets!
Thanks, my GT Silver with Classic Interior is scheduled to enter the body shop tomorrow. I wonder how long after it enters when it will show up on this list. It will show a price of at least $95,885 plus the increase in shipping if that is retroactive.

WOOHOO! My white spyder was born on jan 16 - as schedule! Cubans for all RLers!!! Another 4-6 weeks and I'll see my baby!
Thanks again, s2ktaxi, for being the keeper of the list. Without you, I wouldn't have known.
Of course, I didn't hear from my SA today. Let's see if i hear from him tomorrow. Not holding my breadth.
I've bought cars from two porsche dealers in the sf bay area - and so far both experiences have been disappointments. I bought a bimmer during the summer and the dealership and SA experience was great, not to mention a fabulous experience at BMW Welt for ED. What's wrong with this picture?

mine took longer because of holiday factory closure - 3 weeks. pretty sure normal build time is one week. vin assigned when build completed.
