I thought the same, but when I spoke with my SA, he said that they will be exactly like my Club coupe, wrapping the silver trim in leather w deviated stitching. Otherwise, it's not worth the money, just for slats.

Vents wrapped in leather with deviated stitching.

not that it really matters, but it's fun to delve into this stuff.
I'm showing 305 and 137 for auto and manual respectively. the rest were the manually added rows that I couldn't tell.

Ah! if only I had known! I wanted to reduce the variations of silver trim in the cabin

It makes the car look more sleek, less choppy, and quite amazing. Thats my opinion of course.

I wasn't sure about all of the extras when I placed my order, and luckily I was able to see a GTS cab that was delivered locally to a fellow RLer with the same interior options that I picked. After seeing it live, I was sold, and locked in my options; no silver bits, or shiny plastic in any areas where they can be eliminated. It was costly, but after seeing it, and spending so much time in the cabin, I wouldn't change one thing about the interior.

Now I understand the phrase "Just shut up and take my $$$"

Sorry, but your SA is wrong. Only the slates are different for the 981. You will still have the chrome surround. The 991 however does gets the leather surround.

Thanks Joe for finding one of the missing VINs - likely a 918 owner car. List is updated with a few more from the last couple of days

While I have been able to manually find info for about a handful of 918 owner cars that don't show up on Porsche's build sheet generator, I suspect the following are mostly 918 owner VINs - some of which were not built earlier either because of LWB issues or PTS timing. The first 68 VIN #s are also missing - but Porsche seems to not always start at 001 unless there were 68 demo/factory cars...

I wonder why they need 99, 25041 and 789 to specify PTS and still not have the actual color code in the build sheet like they do for the standard colors

I don't know.
Asked my SA when I ordered, since It doesn't confirm the color choice.
Didn't have a good answer. Eduardo probably knows though.
