18" or 19" rims on GT4

I'm trying to get all these guys to listen to me.
295-35-19 with a 265-35-19 will give the car proper rake, let it turn better, and allow for less alignment/rake changes necessary, compared to running a much shorter 295-30-19.
The 295-30-19 works, but the 295-35-19 is superior in ever aspect, for this fitment. Higher load rating, more progressive handling, proper rake, etc. etc.

What tire is available in the 265/30-19 as well as all those other sizes. Yes, I'm too lazy to search.

The 265/35R19 and 295/30R19 is 100%, very close to stock, so I think everything will be fine, at least with ABS. Lateral G's might confuse the SC, but it didn't in my 997 - so I'd guess it would be fine with the 981.

Thank you for sharing!
I'm going to guess that it will **** off the systems. The ratio is 95% for a 265/35, 295/35 setup, vs. 99.3% stock. I don't run with SC or TC, but it's possible it could freak out ABS - don't know until we try it.

19"ers for SCCA autocross...
Hi all. Subscribed, as this will be my GT4 fun till delivery in June.
For SCCA street class, we can go 1" down but no wider, and currently
a GT4 would have to, because the stickiest 200tw tires (that's the minimum
tw allowed) such as the RE-71R don't come it 20" at all...
So unless things change, I'll be in the market in June for a 19"x8.5"
and 19"x11" ideally. The drop in overall diameter would help a lot
because we'll be in second mostly, and that's awfully tall.

I need to take some pics - but we got it all setup now. 265 will work on the front, as will a 11" on the rear. Forgeline got it dead on. To get -3 in the front with adjustment for the tire size in ride height (rake), -5mm, and get all the clearance maxed out, you will need BGB;s toe kit, and Tarret thrust-arm pucks to get the caster close to stock (9 degrees). John at BGB helped me get it dial'd in with advice and parts, soulspeed in austin maniacally perfected the alignment.
Austin peeps - highly recommend Soulspeed for setting up your car.
Forgeline knows their ****....wheels for the RS were perfect, and now they have the formula for the GT4..not to mention the lightest wheels you can buy that are not carbon.

Looking forward to seeing more pictures of this setup in the full light. Side profile shots and all. It still amazes me that the factory suspension will not allow for 18's to get in there. I'm curious to see how the new clubsport suspension evolves over time (after 1st year of racing, getting their teething issues sorted).

There are numerous discussions on 19" wheel fitment and limitations covered in this thread as well as others.
