Anyone have any idea how the ride height of the GT4 is gonna compare to say, a Ferrari 360 (one of my other cars)?

The ride height is my only concern about tooling around town in the GT4. I really hope it's not much lower than a stock 360...

I'm just talking about midengine. 997 is Aisin as is 7spd.

Beanboy-- the GT4 ride height is adjustable. Raising the car would surely deviate from factory specs but I don't see why it couldn't be done if needed.

CF for me. I think it looks appropriate in a "GT" car. All trims look great though.

When you say it's adjustable, what do you mean. There's no axle lift obviously as far as I know. Or do you mean you can change it aftermarket?

The struts are essentially "coil-overs", with threaded collars to allow corner-weighting and some height adjustment. It remains to be seen just how much adjustment there is and whether it will lead to issues with respect to shock travel. Regardless, any ride height changes will require significant effort and an alignment afterwards.

So that being said, isn't it 18mm lower than a standard cayman? Or is it 30mm? If I know that I can calculate the height...

It is adjustable, but I would expect it to be exactly the same as the GT3, considering they share the same front suspension. I believe the GT3's front clearance is 103mm

It's 30mm lower than a standard Cayman.

Beanboy, It will be lower. I also have a 360 and it is definitely higher than the Boxster or Cayman. The GT4 has PASM so it should be ok at the highest setting.

^as far as i understand PASM, it doesnt raise or lower the car at different settings, my understanding is that the shocks become harder with sport button pressed vs normal. Yes, the ride height is different with PASM vs a non-PASM car, but it's ALWAYS, no matter the setting, different/lower.
The GT4 will always be 30mm lower than normal Cayman, 30mm lower when riding in normal mode, 30mm lower when riding in sport mode.

Thats why you can opt for sport suspension on Cayman S and GTS, where it's 20mm lower than "stock", always is, and always hard/sport, no "normal" mode. Some say it's even harsh.
Good thing GT4 comes with PASM for adjustability of ride "smoothness"!!!
