The configurator does not allow optional rear view camera or park assist. Guess it's just not a priority for the GT cars?? I don't understand this philosophy.

My dealer says deliveries in October and allocations probably in August.

Weird. The Porsche press release says US deliveries in July.

Good stuff. Seems like the GT4s are being built as strippers as most GT3s were built loaded.

Porsche marketing at its best. At least AP was honest and said " projected time ",since only a brain dead would think they've been on the Ring in December.

Not that I care about Ring times one bit nor " shaving tenths " to paraphrase the spin off master.

Good lucking finding one @ MSRP. With taxes, this car will still cost $100k + Dealer Markup.

I guess I'm just going to stick with a C7 Z51 for now.....

I couldn't care about the Ring times, but more the limited development that it implies. Considering the 991 GT3 RS was first spotted at the ring back in June 2013. I can't remember when the 991 GT3 testing was started vs sales starte.

I think everyone would agree that the 991 GT3 is greater than the sum of its parts. I attribute a lot of that to the development that goes into it. As a potential customer, it's a big question on the GT4 and if it will elicit the same response.

What is this dealer markup nonsense? Go find a different dealer if you get hit with that.

You don't need luck, so stop perpetuating that myth. You just need a non-idiot who deserves your money in exchange for the car.

If I can't get one then it wasn't meant to be. That's how I see things...

But I'm fairly positive they'll be plenty. It's a freakin Cayman! Plus,I think we should learn from the 991 GT3 experience. I've said before : you would've had to have been in a coma for 10 months and woken up and still would've gotten a GT3. Porsche is a money making machine,no money is going to be left on the table, trust me!

Does anyone think the wheels look darker than the GT3 platinum ones? While they were at it, I wonder if they're reworked the paint finish to reduce chipping?
