I imagine that anyone who really wants one will be able to find one.
I suspect the market for a nearly $100k Cayman will be rather limited.
Also seems a bit anemic? Wasn't the Cayman R faster from 0-60? Or is it just typical Porsche conservative estimates?

I'll take mine in Voodoo Blue please.

Nice! I think they want to get it to market ASAP--so it'll get some run prior to 981 refresh.

Without a doubt--but makes for fun talk while we await the RS

Kudos to the jokes peeps!

No joke-I am lusting after the GT4. I think its a divine combo of Mid-Engine + MT + GT3 part's bin + No Centerlocks.

Will revert back with my non-Flip Flop objective. Cool?

I thought I heard the rear axel was shared with the turbo, and since the wheels are the same size as the turbo, and since we know turbo wheels sorta fit on a GT3 ("winter package"), then it's likely someone can do a 5-lug conversion and use GT4 wheels on a GT3. (Even if it might need spacers to look just right)

5 lug hubs are from Turbo. But how involved would a conversion be?

You can always drop major coin to convert CL to 5-lug but the question is why should you have to on a $150k "track focused" car?

On a separate but related note, we finally get a satin black wheel option. Another example of Porsche listening.

Apologize if already posted, but since a lot has been speculated about the rear suspension, Autocar says double wishbone -

the rear axle and forged aluminium double wishbone suspension are completely new.

That's a global GT3 recall will do to you.

Anyone else think Andreas Preuninger looks like a skinnier, taller version of Daniel Craig (aka 007)?

That is great news. GT3 components on a mid-engine platform and a manual gearbox! And most probably an underrated hp number to satisfy the accountants and the product hierarchy. Frankly, the manual gearbox is the one differentiating factor of that car vs many other hard core high performance cars out there, and would be the main reason why I would want one!

I am glad Porsche has been listening.

No, I think most magazines that I have read when reviewing the GT3 and other cars (like Z06, M4) all marvel at the shift speed of the double clutch but continue to say they themselves would get a manual. I don't care how fast a PDK shifts. I would only prefer it if I am racing someone for money.
