Yeah the new GT4 is a great looking car to my eyes...

I might even prefer it to my 981, but its close. Both are gorgeous.

And it looks awesome in yellow (and probably white too). I wonder if black would hide a lot of the things that I really like about the new car..

Spyder on target too.

I agree that they both look great, and also in black on the configurator, especially with silver wheels. Wish I didn't have a personal prejudice against black cars with black interiors.

God bless,
TT

That Racing Yellow on the 718 GT4 looks softer and less “neony” than the RY on the 981. Is that the same paint?

Thats good news. Has anyone heard the sound comparison between those with and those without particulate filter?

I get the impression that as all cars so far are EU type then all so far all have had the filter, so no.

Gazz so what do you think of the 718 GT4 are you likely to be an early adopter?

That piston heads review has me a bit concerned about the exhaust note - hopefully it’s all down to the particulate filter, and the Australian cars sound good.

To be honest, I’m not in the market for another GT4, but I fully expect this engine to make its way into a 992 Carerra T or equivalent and that’s the car for me if the sound is good.

Hi Brad,
I'm guessing the Carrera T will be Turbo just like the current one.

Cheers Jim

I don’t buy that the new engine doesn’t make it into the 992 platform. There are no compelling reasons why it wouldn’t. I think the T is most obvious option to me.

If you shout it out loud enough maybe it will happen, just like the GT3 Touring happened.

Hi GAZZ, I'm not so sure about the Aussie GPF delete; so much interlocked development in the ECU. I think trhe US gets the GPF so a lot of development for a small market.
