718 GT4?

No, no , no....you have to tell him that your wife ran away with a police officer and you though he was trying to return her!

Just don't do what a friend of mine did years ago while going 100 on Rt 95 in Georgia. The trooper stops him in the middle of the night and says to him "Boy, nobody goes through Georgia that fast."
He replies "Sherman did." That did not end well for my friend.

Ouch. Obviously I was kidding, but I think if the cop had a good sense of humor any of these could work. Probably wiser to stick to being respectful and owing it.

Never had a problem with bright colors and cops. But yeah I like my cars to be bright and head turning. Got so many compliments on my Sapphire Blue Spyder. Also it photographs incredibly well at the track days I have been to. I think Racing Yellow is a good looking color too but blue is the best.

I just - about 3-4 weeks ago - got a lava orange 991.2 Carrera S because I got tired of waiting for the 718 GT4.
To say that it attracts attention is an understatement. Cops' heads swivel when I go past. I get thumbs up all the time from random other cars. And people in trucks try to run me off the road.
It doesn't help that I also decided to get a vanity plate.
In contrast, my previous toy - white 981 Cayman GTS - barely turned any heads.

Wondering if the exaggerated wing on GT cars, either in dull or bright colors, is cause for additional law enforcement officer attention.
I sure hope not.

My .1 RS was UV and oddly no one really noticed it on the road. My .2 3RS is GR and of course people are constantly messing with me on the road. On the streets I drive like a sane human who provides proper following distance and good road manners. I don't speed and act like an idiot. For some reason with the red people just flock to the car. If I knew it would create such a stir I would not have chosen GR.
Conversely my .2 GT3 is GT Silver and no one notices it on the road; it's just another car. The GT4? While it's a crazy light color people still do not flock to it like the RS.
I will get a 718 GT4 but I am really on the fence with regard to color. I just don't like the attention. I by cars for what they do for ME; not to attract the attention of others.
Anyhow, back on topic. Sorry for the rant.

^Right. I don't blame people for going off on different tangents in this thread. Or buying a different car. Come on Porsche lets hear about this thing!

My dealership told me December of this year and that it's gonna be a 4.0L with 420 hp. Having said that, if you dig back through 6 months of replies, 1500 threads and 85 pages... you will see the same thing written 14 different times! "How bout them bears!??"
