To those that have lost their fathers, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. For me, and likely many of us I am guessing, we learned out love of cars from our dads. For those of us that are still lucky enough to have our fathers, see if they want to go for a drive this weekend. I know I am with my dad.

@mithiral67 Sounds like a great idea. Enjoy!

Thank you all very much for the warm condolences--it's impressive how much these little acts of kindness do to help heal the heart. I appreciate it very much. I was very fortunate to enjoy a loving relationship with my father who was driving and living life up until the week before he died at 92 ½. I am still trying to process that he's gone.

For those of you who have lost one or both parents, I suspect you know how much warm words from just about anyone can mean. For those of you who have not yet lost a parent, never underestimate the power of tiny acts of kindness, even just a few words, to someone who has lost a parent.

They could have padded their magazine with a copy/paste job. Ha. That or they went and bought a GT3.

Or they are in the embargo period? Magazines will get information before an official release so they can have their stories ready to go, but only in exchange for not releasing it early. Last year everyone knew a new GT4 was coming, but nothing was official. I wouldn’t be surprised if this year C&D knows, as in officially, which perversely means they can’t say anything.

Hello all

After reading about our member´s father loss, i spoke to my father and we went for a afternoon drive in his old amg. Something about cars and relation/bonds that will live forever.

Best regards.
