718 GT4?

LOL, I didn't realize someone was appointed to dictate how RL members get to use the forum. Seems like it's "open source" to me as long as it doesn't devolve into assholery of a degree that requires adult intervention. If somebody wants to drift off into convos about tequila, and somebody else wants to drop in and ask for a synopsis to avoid reading about tequila and turbo speculations, and somebody else wants to build a graph showing revs-in-gears plotted against FM-station-frequencies, well, they can just have at it. If the market doesn't want to answer the guy who wants a synopsis it simply won't happen. If somebody does want to answer it, it will be answered and those who find this distasteful can just skip it. As I have skipped many comments in this very thread.
Summary...
New GT4 might be turbo charged...
New GT4 might be Naturally Aspirated...
Some people already know which it is and have alluded to it...
It may have a transmission of some sort...
Tequilla makes her clothes fall off...
It doesn't have to be good Tequilla.
That should catch you up if you just got here...

Please Porsche...make the official 718 GT4 announcement. This thread is driving me to
It's too early in the day to start tequila shots, even inferior Patron ones

My fix for 718 anxiety is to simply get in my GT4 and go for a drive. Two weekends ago I went to the Smokies with three friends from the Smokies GT group. The weather was great and I had the opportunity to drive a '16' GT3 RS along with a manual '18' GT3. The front grip on the RS was simply amazing. The '18' GT3 is definitely a step up from the .1 and the manual makes a great addition for those wanting to row their own.
What I came away with from the weekend is I can't use any of the three cars to their full potential. The price delta on the 718 would pay for a lot of weekends in the 16. And at over 21000 miles, with the exception of a coil pack, my GT4 has been rock solid.

/\ This. I put almost 700 miles of twisty mountain roads and an autocross on my GT4 this past weekend. I feel sorry for the guys sitting on the fence perpetually waiting for the next big thing. I bought my GT4 only a couple months ago knowing full well a 718 GT4 was very likely if not certain. Life is too short. If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with.

No.
That's a 981 GT4 they've been having some fun with.
