I heard they were going with some iteration of a Briggs & Stratton engine, but we'll see.

The year was 1989...a kid sold me a go kart chassis for $5 that was broken in half; i took the 5 horsepower engine off of my parent's Briggs and Stratton leaf blower because everyone told me most karts ran the 2.5 hp motor. The inspiration for the 911 engine swap has been around since the beginning! Everything was fine until i had to go screwing with the governor - maybe that's why i like stock motors!!

I am headed to see the new 718 GT4 race car but with it comes the surrendering of my iPhone and the signing of an NDA so don't expect much from me until things are official!

Apparently BGB Motorsports is somewhere checking out the new GT4 and had their phone confiscated. Seems interesting.

Edit: Seems to be for the new GT4 CS

Edit 2: Welp, I didn't see his response above. LOL my bad

We were invited to see the new Clubsport but since the car is on track testing before the release of the road car, we had to give up our phones were not allowed to take pics or post anything in public. Trust me...i know how badly you all are waiting for the details on this new car and i'm not trying to stir the pot any more than it already has been. The next generation GT4 will be an improvement on the previous one...Porsche is finally giving the Cayman the love it deserves. There is a mule testing here in Florida as we speak. if i can get up close to that one i will.

Porsche is known for doing that with every generation. Ref GT3s and the rest of the model lines.

Did you miss spy craft 101, where they teach you always to carry two phones, one you "surrender" and one you keep in your leg holster for special occasions? Geesh.
