Thread for those who lost their car on the Felicity Ace ship fire

I’ve started to see in some other threads about the fire (992 GT thread) that some folks are being contacted by their SA with new allocations. Some have lost access to TYD (I have not) indicating old commission number is not valid any longer. I think I saw people with Taycan and Cayenne orders.
Nothing from my dealer yet.

Got a call just after posting from the sales manager. He said my Boxster GTS has a new allocation for delivery in late June/July. It will be FY 22 and have a new commission number. It was implied that these new allocations were pushed to the front of the line to be filled as a priority.
I asked about any compensation (I had a rally drive planned in April) and he could not commit yes or no, but said if nothing came from corporate then the dealer will take care of things…
I am very thankful for the quick allocation. Bummed about the delay and missing the rally, bummed I won’t be able to drive in the spring, but happy and appreciative to still be able to get this car.
Edit: he said the build would be the same. I have 18 ways, no PCCB, nothing else too special.
Edit 2: he also implied only customer ordered cars were skipping ahead, and the dealer cars were yet allocated or were at the back of the line.

I have a paint to sample 911 TARGA 4S. I was told it would be a 2023 model and delivery may be around November December.😞

They said I can change the color and add other options. They didn’t mention anyway to speed up the paint sample. I think it’s a scheduling issue.

I'm a GT4 and a PTS order. I have no update, but do think an exact rebuild of my car is the hardest...especially if Porsche has 'other plans' for the 718 offering for the 2023 MY.
...I have no official news from my dealer. I'll post as I know more.

MY2023 should be more or less the same as 2022. Just wondering how much GT4 manufacturing they had intended to shift to the RS.

My dealer also confirmed I have a new allocation for delivery the last week of June (Macan S). Not sure how "expedited" that is considering that was about how long we would have waited for the first car...

I just got a fresh welcome to Porsche email with a link to a new TYD page with new commission number. Showing 49 days to freeze and July 1 delivery. I have a 4th of July road trip planned so it’d be awesome if this stayed accurate!

I got mine today as well - finally! Did your SA mention wether you can make changes or not? My delivery date is a week behind yours.
