I'll be there if the weather is good, for sure. Last month was my first and it was impressive. The location of the event in a central square lot in the middle of Bryn Mawr was unique: Amazing cars were arriving and leaving in all directions and the whole town was rapt in a crescendo of burbling and rumbling exhausts and engines. It was quite the experience just to stop and listen.....Not to mention all the awesome eye-candy.

Great coffee down the street at LaColombe and a couple of options for bagel sandwiches, one right there at Up Ryse. Never a bad thing...

I should be there with the white 991.1 GT3. I have your full competition exhaust on the car as of December - and I love it!

Your best bet is to call up or email John Gaydos - who has the most experience with it. Johng@soulpp.com

Hey Philly Gang, I'm considering selling my 986S. It's a Florida car I bought in 2016 from the original owner. Very good condition, IMS/RMS/Clutch/Flywheel done.About 25,500 original miles. It's one of the cleanest ones around.

Good options list, Metallic Black paint over grey extended leather interior. I'm not a detailer and therefore it's not been detailed, but it's super clean. Soft touch paint is flaking and I may partially correct that. Original Soft top, etc.

Currently lowered on H&R sport springs and Bilstein B8 shocks. Tires last year, oil change and inspection on May 31st. Serviced at J&J in Bryn Mawr. They said the only problem with the car is that I don't drive it enough.

DM or dave@soulpp.com. Tell a friend!

Looks like fun and I am local but as you know, it's WGI weekend for RTR. It's a go weekend and not a show weekend for me!

Hi All - does anyone know of a local lock smith that is good with Porsche locks? I have a 1990 928 and I need to get one of the locks rekeyed. Before I ship the lock off to CA, wanted to see if there was a local I could use.

Thanks
JT

Default Need great diagnostician for probable rebuild

Hi everyone. I’m moving to Southern NJ/Philly and need a Porsche specialist who is an expert diagnostician. I have a 997.1 that’s been having misfiring issues for about 9 months. Slowly replaced almost all the electronics (plugs, ignition cables, ECU, ECU grounding cable). The misfires tracked by computer didn’t match up to the cylinders actually misfiring. A new RPM sensor seemed to do the trick for a couple months. Then the problem came back and the new RPM sensor showed signs of scratches on its face, suggesting that maybe a crankshaft bearing is bad and the flywheel is scuffing the sensor.

Can anyone please advise me on a dedicated Porsche mechanic who is great at diagnosing problems like this? I’d say anything within 1.5h of Cherry Hill is reasonable. Thanks in advance to the group.
