Is anyone else going to this tomorrow?

I will be there parked in the poverty lot, hopefully!

What's up hometown? I grew up playing tennis w/pops at Awbury. Check with Soul Perfoemance. They may be a little bit of a hike, but if they can't help, maybe they can point you in the right direction.

Good to know. No problems (or P-Car yet lol) but like to know a good indy that people go to. There's a few good dealers by me, but always like an alternate. Brought my Lotus to Zeigler Exotic over in Pheonixville who is excellent, but a hike.

You guys should really start thinking about bringing your cars to the track instead of polishing up your cars, and ewwing, and awwwing over the same ol' same ol' cars every wknd; I say this in kind so bear with me.
I took some sound advise from another local RLister who gave me just the nudge I needed to begin tracking my car this year (TY @ldamelio ), and it has been the best thing I've ever done automotive wise in my life, and I will never stop until the day I'm unfit mentally/physically to participate (though I'd prob still attend). I have learned that you just cant drive your P-Car on the street as it was intended to be used... not even 1 - 10th of its capabilities can be exploited. Yeah you will find me at a few C&C from time to time, but only if I have nothing better to do. I sorta enjoy them, love hate kinda thing on my end, as I just dont care to gawk at cars anymore...nothing out there these days interests me, and SVJ owners are tools that only care to show off their bank account (not true enthusiasts).. have others wash their cars, and only take them out for C&C.. Just MHO. At a track event, you stumble upon true Motorsports enthusiasts, driving all the same cars you will see at C&C, then out there rippin it up on track! I'd say ~40% of the reason I like to go to as many track day events as I can is due to the amazing groups of ppl there. Not a single person isnt smiling from ear to ear, friendly, there to lend you a hand when you need, either with tools or chatting about driving lines, or even how the fam is doing.
I urge anyone/everyone who has not been out on track to look into a Into to DE event in the future. It's a no brainer @ $150 for the full day, and tons of track time with a dedicated instructor riding shotgun, paired with a C&C on steroids. Its the safest I've ever felt behind the wheel, not to mention I have not had a single blemish on the car over two full weekends... all of my little PPF dings have been from backroad driving. The only thing you might be mad at me for after doing an intro day is feeling the immediate addiction to the sport! Its that UNREAL of an experience.
Well, this wasnt a track Fan Boy rant, and I know we all have our own set of comforts and reasons why we own our cars... just know, if your P-Car could talk, he/she would be saying "taaaaaakeeeee me to the track please!" - otherwise, its like owning a plane that only sees the tarmac and never takes flight.

Welcome to the party. Was just at bjmp lightjng last night with scca, 3 sessions for $170. Every 3rd wed of the month. While not near as good as a pca event its still a cheap way to get on track

I was just @ lighting for my second weekend this year, back at NJMP Thunderbolt Aug 10-11th.. prolly hitting up lighting with MoE Sept. 13th, then Summit Main Oct. 11-13th. Will you be making an appearance at any of these events?

And what a party it is man. Everyone was 100% right when they said tracking is like crack; you can’t just have one taste!
