New 2018 Cayman GTS owner in Howard County. Good to know that TPC is still one of the go-to places in the area.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but AT Speed Porsche Services in Elkridge is another shop though I haven't used then yet I see a good bit of Porsche owners stopping by.

I thought AT Speed had closed down. I used to use them for my E36 M3, but stopped going there because it looked like they had gone out of business. I see they have a Facebook page that now sows them as a car dealer focusing on classic Porsches and Mercedes. They always used to have some nice Porsche race cars in their lobby.

They did but reopened in a different location and changed gears a bit but that is their current location.

How many 996 owners have swapped the factory speakers out and what was used to replace the stockers?

This is not your typical Porsche being a diesel and an SUV, but I'm looking for a competent, careful mechanic who is honest and won't break the bank, preferably with diesel experience. I had a battery replaced by Auto Therapy near the Airpark and they seemed OK but couldn't really pass judgment on something as simple as a battery change.
Nice looking truck also there is Ralph's in Owings Mills that specialize in Porsche only

Hey everyone! I took delivery of my 2013 911s two weeks ago and I'm in love! Looking forward to future events.

Default Indy shop and audio installer near Rockville

I just got a 2001 911 C4 and am looking to have IMS done and radio replaced. Any recommendations on an indy shop for IMS and a radio installer?

Not sure what IMS is or where you are located. But for radio install, I've had good experiences with Absolute Electronix in Rockville. https://www.absoluteelectronix.com

I'm looking for a PPI in the Baltimore area (preferable North Baltimore) for a 996 C2 manual.
  • TPC said they don't do PPIs
  • SSI sounded promising for a couple hour inspection.
  • GT Performance quote was higher, but seemed like it was going to be very thorough.

Any input on the shops above? Anywhere else I should call?
