I'm going to bow out as league host, the field has just gotten too small to bother with. If someone wants to take over as host, by all means do so.

Maybe we can revisit if the field gets bigger at some point down the road.

Well thanks for hosting it as long as you did Chas. If you are hosting anything with the pro guys etc. that might be fun for the rennlist guys to jump into on a more infrequent basis.

I hate to see this die, but I bear at least part of the responsibility for not showing up over the last few months. Is there anyway we can merge with another group or get bigger fields? What ever happened to all the guys from ferrari chat, including that dude from Texas?

 

This truly is a sad day. Thanks for hosting and allowing me to join in the races. This group has made me a better IRacer.

 

Ditto on all counts. I've been so busy these last few months I haven't even fired up my gaming rig. My iRacing account expired a few months ago and I haven't even had time to renew

 

no worries guys, let's take some time off and see if everyone's itching to race after a few months of cabin fever.

 

There used to be another rennlist weekly racing grouip. I think that thread faded when we started this thread. Maybe I will just put my account on ice while I am in Japan and revisit when I get back.

 

That may have been the Rennlist iRacing for Rookies thing I tried to get going a year or so ago. We had some success but I think as some of the aliens started infiltrating the ranks new people got frustrated and left, then eventually it became a ghost town. Last week upgraded to the CSW and the CSP V2 from a G25. Wow, what a difference! Talk about a new level of immersion and precision.

Highly recommended.

 

Nice wheel! I'm shopping for one, but that one was a bit too rich for my blood. My wife got my Christmas list with the GT3 V2 wheel on it... but her list has only has diamond earrings... so maybe I need to reassess!
