So what's the plan for next week? We need to do something to boost participation. I think the new lotus 49 would be a lot of fun, but it is a new car and might be tougher to get everyone on board.

Should we go back to base content tracks and cars? Bring in some pros? Recruit elsewhere?

I think try to do some of the included tracks/cars to just about anyone can hop it would probably help a bit.

I do think we need more participation, but I'm not sure that only doing the cars/tracks that come with the beginner pack is the key. I think it's more about finding car/track combos that entice people. We have had some really good turn-outs on combos that where all bought cars/tracks.
I'm not so sure the tracks are the problem, but more the cars. Yes, I have hated all month on the mustang; but I have stuck with it and have learned a few things. I may not be the norm. If I am a person who only races 1-2 times a week, I would rather jump into a car that has a much smaller learning curve than the stang. We seem to get a better turnout on faster, forgivable cars than we do on the ones that require some advanced training. We can't all be aliens.
Just my .52 pence.

I think it is scheduled to be Sebring night in the Mustang. Maybe there's some other car people would prefer as the Mustang isn't getting much interest.

that is correct, Sebring Night with the Mustang is on the schedule, but I'm more than willing to change it if the crowds return.

Sorry I have been out for awhile guys. I moved to another apartment in this building and work has been getting in the way; that and trying to get the hell out of here for Japan. As chas knows, I am heading out to california tomorrow night, so tomorrow is a no-go. But, I am looking into how to send the Sim to Japan to keep me company!

We could try a shorter configuration. Might make it a bit more interesting. Modified looks like a lot of straights and not a lot of turns.

I'm down for whatever. I have parent teacher conference tonight for my oldest, so Im just looking forward to driving something. Last night was PTC for my youngest and there's nothing like sitting in a kindergarteners chair 5" off the ground, trying to take his teacher seriously.

I'm in. Do we have to do the Mustangs?!?!? I don't care actually. I spent last night running Spec Racer Fords at Charlotte in the Week 13 stuff and lately I have been doing Daytona to get ready for January. Daytona Prototype .... GX Class Cayman...same difference. Motor is in the back and it's mid-engined!

I'm in! Let's keep the mustang at Sebring night. Should be fun.
