I'll be back in the swing of things in November. I'm taking a better job with real 8-4pm bankers hours, so I'll be in the land of the living again. I've been so busy I actually don't even have an active sub right now.

Apologies in advance for the newb question, but what time do you guys do this tonight? 7:30? Which timezone?
It's been ages (my game needed 800Mb of updates!)...but I dusted off my wheel and pedals last night and played with the miata cup at Seca. ......took me 20 minutes just to get into the measly 1:45s. Rolling Chicane is my name. Still would be fun to join you all.

Good racing again. I was going to need a 2 stop race to make it to the end because of the small fuel tank. I optimistically went as far as the car would go, but didn't get the white flag when I needed it.
Andy gets to say he went wheel to wheel with Patrick Long and came out ahead. Nice win Andy!
Next week lets do something fast!

Sorry guys.... 7:40 Eastern is 4:40 Pacific when I'm still far from home everyday, working.
Now... if there were a 8:40pm Pacific start time... that I could do.
Jealous of your Pat Long time. I passed him once in the real world, between Turn 5 & 6 at Laguna Seca, but he was just cruising along in a Cayenne GTS for a promo shoot and I was hustling a Cayman S on R-comps... so no real victory there.

Pat managed to run out of gas twice (?).
Andy and Justin had a great battle at the end of the race, reminded me of a few years ago when the Porsche and Ferrari were battling for the GT win at the end of the 12 hours!
as for next week: how about the LMP at Road America? that would be pretty fast

Sorry I missed last night. I was trying to do too many things at once and before I knew it practice was almost over. I figured I would just get out of the way for the pros.
On the bright side I finished an IRacing specific pc build for a fellow rennlister and Spec 944 driver. I am hoping he will be joining us in the near future.

our very own Gator_86_951 paid me a visit today! this was his first experience on iracing with a full motion rig.
I think we gave him vertigo
but he recovered and did some quick laps in the LMP at Sebring, F1 at Watkins Glen and then a race in the SRF at Summit Point!
nice to meet you Gator! come back any time!

If you guys are ever in So. Cal. you MUST experience a full motion sim. I did get a little vertigo. I think part of that was the lack of sleep and not eating something before hand.
BUT, the full motion rig is ****ing bonkers. My high school / college buddy Josh even came by and was more blown away then I was. I understand United services Tokyo from LAX. Maybe a pit stop or two on the way to the land of flashy lights and cabs with automatic doors!
