Yes I was referring to the iRacing official series races. The Blancpain Sprint races are only 40min so one set of tires should easily finish the race, I just wasn't realizing that in the pits I think the guy only has a tire iron to change the tires is why it takes so long :-)

Cool, I'll be joining you guys tonight. Got home early.
Will this be like last season with pit stops and a splash and go at the end? ...just so I know when Justin will have the upper hand.

That was an intense race. I can't believe the tires are so sensitive to pressure and temperature. I was running 20psi cold, and the car was slipping and sliding all over the place by the end. Hot psi was around 29 or so.

Anyway, that guy's iRating was almost 7000. He was ridiculously fast. ...I'll just consider that was a given, so I guess Jim won then. That was a nice overtake at the end!

Great race - kick *** pressure, Sean! And Bedo - bummer about your damage, definitely wouldn't have caught you otherwise! You were running defensive there, holding the inside LOL! Kept saying to myself, "You sneaky bastard..."

And yeah, I figured out by accident last week that the car likes lower tire pressures. I don't know if it's always been that way, or a recent development. I've always run it at 28.5-29.0 hot... last week, decided to try low pressures (figured I'd botch COTA anyways) and son-of-a... 23.5 hot and the car felt awesome.

Lol... yeah, I wasn't giving it away. I actually didn't notice or see how much damage I had, but the car was ridiculously squirly for me.

Watkins Glen is an interesting track. Deceptively difficult, and really evens out the playing field. Fun race for sure. Hope to join in next week.

Could also have something to do with the dynamic track and weather. I haven't had much time to test as the only race I've done on the NSM was the RA enduro with the McLaren. There were some peculiarities there for sure. I guess we just have to figure out what works and what doesn't.

I left it focused on "most exciting" but flipped through cameras.

Anyone in for practice? Session says that it starts at 9pm EST, but not sure if its accounting for DST, as it 8pm EST now, and it's letting me in.

How did yesterday's event go?

I'll miss next week too - back in NYC.

Think 7 of us showed up, qualifying everyone was pretty close. Will show up for Sundays practice but have to be in Phoenix all week next week.

LRP sucks pretty bad with more than about 15 racers, so Wednesday was pretty good. We weren't tripping over each other too much (except for me collecting Phil about a dozen times after I spun).
