Rennlist iRacing thread
#5080
I will see about jumping on for a bit tonight. It's almost 80 degrees here (Chicago) which is *really* rare so most likely I'll be doing something outside with da family. But if not... I'll head to the basement.

I did some goofing around a few minutes ago (working from home today) after reading some things about the Rift and iRacing.
Gator - you mentioned having bad blurriness/jumpiness when playing iRacing in the Rift. Are you using the "Extended" mode, or the "Direct to Rift" mode?
I've been running in "Extended" mode, but read a post from a guy in the IR forums about how "Direct" mode is, "Smooth as silk." So I decided to try it... and I got really bad ghosting and blurriness if I moved my head much beyond an extremely slow rate. It seemed like it was smooth, but really blurry. Ugh. If you're in Direct mode - switch it (make sure you edit your display properties to rotate the display to landscape and set the refresh rate to 75Hz) and try that. Should be a BIG difference.
