+1000. Good advice in real life, and equally good advice for iRacing. People seem to forget that the farther back in the pack you are, the worse the "accordion effect" going through turns and brake zones will be. There are few things more frustrating than getting taken out on the first lap, for both parties involved.

Other good news...my system is currently working, or so it seems...so the #19 car of "Ghetto-Rigged Racing" will be there tonight

A start at Mosport!

I had missed part of the qualifying because I had it the wall exiting turn 3 when it was raining (my fault). So the car was not as straight as it was at the start of the weekend AND I was not as confident as usual. I managed a 1:38:9, about 1.2 seconds off the fastest lap of the best drivers (Randy S. and Chris L.)

I'm hosting a session from 4:30-6:30 CST if anyone would like some practice before the race. It's going to be mainly a practice session, with a very quick qualifying and race at the end (probably like 5 laps) just to let us practice the start once. Password will be "spyder"

I started last and got caught up watching the two in front of me take each other out. Of course I have never been to Mosport and never been in a race, plus the 1/2 bottle of wine didn't help. Awesome stuff though!

Great racing with Ted and Tony for a sweaty 25 minutes. I felt bad for Tom with his terrible start from pole that ended the race for him. My pink car must have made him nervous so he turned the wheel away from me. I'm very glad it wasn't pointed the other way.

Yeah, Julian. I saw ya back there, I was just going to give up the position... That would have been a forgone conclusion. My 'holy ****' was when I saw someone rolling in my rearview mirror coming onto the front straight, presumably Tebow.

Mayhem did not occur at least for many of us. I started 12th or 14th and finished 7th, I spent the race trying to catch up baddogz, almost got him in the last turn T10 of the race

Was super fun!
