We play starts/race anyways towards the end

I'd rather do 2x 15x15x15 PQR in a 1.5 hrs

That's what I'll be hosting closer to race days after a few days of practice
Agree 1000%. I get bored just turning laps, and I really joined iRacing to actually race others. I love driving in traffic. I also like the man that just bought all kinds of stuff for his rig talking about discounts on $1 sessions. LOL.

The RUF has clearly brought many folks back to iRacing. Look at how many RUF track sessions there are at any given time.

I think that might have been a random. We race well together, and you, me, and Ted are all right there in the 17 band. Of course, Justin and Tom will be laying down 16.5s or some alien nonsense when you guys do qualifying on Wednesday.

We'll see, I dont think I can get much more than 16.7. Mosport has a lot of interesting corners where the traditional race line doesn't work at all. T1, T3, T5B, and T8 for sure. T3 has a lot of time if you dont setup wide.

What mod did you do to your 27 pedals? I am now thinking to do that instead of the new video card.

If I'd be able to put in practice on iRacing what I do in real life, I'd surely be faster... I did a 1:19:86 without hitting a single apex...

Maybe I'm in a need of a new set-up... The lack of butt feeling does NOT help at all...

What car setup were you using Charles? That can be a huge factor in this car.

I started with the WGI set-up from JustinL then removed the gurney flap and a bit of wing, softer bump in the front shocks. That's it.

I keep the bad driving for iRacing... in the hope that I don't repeat the same in real life...

Either I overdrive the car (which I don't do in real life) or I'm just plain bad.

Set-up? Maybe I should try a new one...

That might be the problem. Try putting the gurney back in and adding 2 clicks of rear wing (12). Leave the bump alone. That one is a bit more conservative than the other one from last night so it should be easier to drive.

+1
If you remove the gurney, then I have found you need to add some mechanical grip to settle the car down. Removing the gurney is good for the rovals, but I think it is counter-intuitive on road tracks. There is just not that much to be gained on the straights.

It's too bad you can't have multiple races inside a single hosted session. 15-P, 15-Q, then 10/10/10 races.

Cutting random solo laps in practice is fun for me as long as I'm still trying to find my rhythm. Once I've found it, it gets boring fast unless I find someone to lead/follow with.

Racing is definitely the best though it's only fun as long as there is a race going on. If you botch it up in the start then it just becomes another practice session.
