So that may be viable for our little get togethers
I think u learn more in an intense PQR than in just 2 hrs of lapping
We play starts/race anyways towards the end
I'd rather do 2x 15x15x15 PQR in a 1.5 hrs
That's what I'll be hosting closer to race days after a few days of practice
Agree 1000%. I get bored just turning laps, and I really joined iRacing to actually race others. I love driving in traffic. I also like the man that just bought all kinds of stuff for his rig talking about discounts on $1 sessions. LOL.
The RUF has clearly brought many folks back to iRacing. Look at how many RUF track sessions there are at any given time.
Didn't work out so well for me, maybe I need to put the brake, brake, brake on my windshield. Had slow start, some of others got by me, but made it through 1, 2, 3, but the car in front of me hit the brakes going into T4 and wasn't expecting it at all and I tag him pretty good. Sorry if that was someone from here, but guessing it was one of the random people that just joined.
I think that might have been a random. We race well together, and you, me, and Ted are all right there in the 17 band. Of course, Justin and Tom will be laying down 16.5s or some alien nonsense when you guys do qualifying on Wednesday.
We'll see, I dont think I can get much more than 16.7. Mosport has a lot of interesting corners where the traditional race line doesn't work at all. T1, T3, T5B, and T8 for sure. T3 has a lot of time if you dont setup wide.
Hey, looking for a little advise. I am on the edge of getting the Obutto R3. Is there any input I can get here? I want the ozone but don't want to wait. Thanks in advance.

Il be in the 16s
Mark my words
Found a bunch of time today and my setup seems to work
Just need some tweeks

Ha!
I can pay for it by saving a buck at a time! Break even by 2017
I will say I don't regret the $ spent
It's also been some fun DIY projects over the last year... All For less than 2 sets of tires or an engine rebuild on my kart
What mod did you do to your 27 pedals? I am now thinking to do that instead of the new video card.
AP eletrix load cell mod
Cheap and good
TSS mod is the best mod followed by perfect pedal
Inside sime racing TV on YouTube has all sorts of vids and reviews also the iRacing forums have tons of info under the hardware forum with lots of stickies
That might be the problem. Try putting the gurney back in and adding 2 clicks of rear wing (12). Leave the bump alone. That one is a bit more conservative than the other one from last night so it should be easier to drive.

+1
If you remove the gurney, then I have found you need to add some mechanical grip to settle the car down. Removing the gurney is good for the rovals, but I think it is counter-intuitive on road tracks. There is just not that much to be gained on the straights.
It's too bad you can't have multiple races inside a single hosted session. 15-P, 15-Q, then 10/10/10 races.
Cutting random solo laps in practice is fun for me as long as I'm still trying to find my rhythm. Once I've found it, it gets boring fast unless I find someone to lead/follow with.
Racing is definitely the best though it's only fun as long as there is a race going on. If you botch it up in the start then it just becomes another practice session.
